Gaylang, Singapore in 2016.
Gaylang is the undocumented red light district of Singapore. I had planned on meeting up with a good friend of mine who had moved to Singapore a few years prior, due to university commitments he was no longer going to be there the same time I was. I was looking for cheap places to stay online & sent him a hotel I had found. He told me it looked good for its price. He failed to mention that I would be staying in the red light district for 4 days. A very interesting place, especially in a country that still inflicts corporal punishment. Great food. I hope to go back one day & complete a series that does the area justice.
